Diamond didn’t see Emil again until dinner and the way that he was glaring at her from across the room made it impossible for her to enjoy her food. Even without looking at him she could feel every time that his eyes were on her and it was quite unsettling. It felt as if his gaze was burning a great big hole straight to her soul.

“Girl, if looks could kill your ass would be laid out on this damn floor right now, because that man is looking at you as if he could strangle you.” Topaz whispered as she placed a basket of hot rolls on the table in front of her.

“Thanks for the update, but I can see him glaring just fine from here. Now shouldn’t you be helping Asia in the kitchen somewhere?” Diamond said to her sister sending her on her way.

“Hey don’t get mad at us you’re the one keeping a really big secret from him. And from what I’ve gather being around the other Landry women it’s going to be hell to pay when he finds out. These Fabrizio men do not do too well with Landry women cover-ups.” Onyx whispered.

Diamond turned to her sister with a slight touch of fear in her hazel eyes. “Well just what is it that you suggest that I do?”

“Uh, I suggest that you tell him the truth before aunt Lacresha pays us a surprise visit and blows the hell out of your little secret. In case you’ve forgotten we are in enough trouble without broadcasting our location on the front page of the tabloids.” Onyx said warning her of what could happen if she didn’t tell him exactly what she hiding.

“What are you talking about?” Diamond asked not quite understanding what she was referring to.

“I’m talking about the fact that if he decides to fight you because you kept it from him for almost five years you’re done. The man is a Fabrizio part of the Fabrizio Billion dollar Empire. I mean we’re not hurting for money but we can’t touch a family that’s getting richer by the hour. Girl your best bet is to beg for forgiveness and pray for mercy.” Onyx whispered.

“Fine if you think that’s my best option I’ll talk to him after dinner and pray that it doesn’t blow up in my face.” Diamond said sounding defeated.

“Yeah, great, in that case you might want to go over there and let him know, so that he can stop glaring this way because he’s making me too nervous to swallow my food.” Onyx said.

Diamond stood from her seat at the table and went over to talk to Emil for a brief moment. When he turned to look at her his gaze was deadly his expression was unreadable. All she knew for sure was that he was not happy at the moment, which made her think twice about coming over to talk to him.

“Uh, I was just wondering if you had some time after dinner for us to talk, I mean if you’re busy I understand.
